LEEP is an abbreviation for loop electrosurgical excision procedure. It is a way to test and treat abnormal cell growth on the surface tissue of the cervix. LEEP may be done when cervical or vaginal problems are found. LEEP is also done to detect cancer of the cervix or vagina. Get your PAP test done every 3 years for early detections and a healthy you!
