First of all, it depends on the size of your canvas. The bigger the canvas, the more difficult it is to create a grid. 1. Open Procreate 2. Change the measurements to the size of your canvas (in my case 40x50cm) 3. Add the drawing aid and decide how big you want your squares to be (I usually do 5x5cm). Personally, I think it gets easier
