This is SL1 WYIF (slip one with yarn in front), shown up close and slow. 1️. Bring the yarn forward, between the needles 2️. Slip one stitch purlwise 3️. Send the yarn back and keep knitting You’ll see this a lot in mosaic and slip stitch patterns. It’s one of those instructions that looks confusing on paper but is actually pretty simple once you watch it happen.
