The Shell trailer looked so very intriguing, I was wondering why it didn’t get more of a push… well, now I know. Shell turns out to be incredibly disappointing. The first two acts are decent and somewhat engaging, at least enough to keep me interested. Sadly the act cracks Shell all apart. When things begin to be revealed, it goes from serious drama/horror, to b-movie creature feature unintentionally funny. Shell should have 100% been done as a straight up dark comedy/body horror film.
