This morning, our community came together to honor and uphold our sacred relationship with the salmon, a precious resource to us. 🙌🏽Today at the Salmon Ceremony at the riverbank in Q’umk’uts , we offered two salmon back to the water, releasing them on cedar mats and rope, symbolizing wealth, thankfulness and reciprocity. ❤️In keeping with our tradition, we had two sets of twin children participate in this annual traditional ceremony.🐟🙌🏽 - Song by Nuskmata , find it on @Nuxalk Radio Records
