SHANTYTOWN CRACKDOWN: Works and Family Island Affairs Minister Clay Sweeting confirmed that the Shantytown Demolition Task Force is now stationed on Eleuthera, where preparations are underway for a major demolition exercise. Sweeting says the operation is part of the government’s broader plan to enforce the law and address unregulated communities across the Family Islands, following similar exercises on New Providence, Abaco, and Exuma earlier this year.
