Alligator Snapping Turtles are naturally lazy! They have a pink extension on their tongue that acts as a fishing lure. This way, they can remain completely still and have their fish dinner come right to their mouth. We encourage some exercise with our female turtle and Louise was eager to swim over to retrieve a tasty fish this morning. #WorldTurtleDay | ZooAmerica
