Brad had the idea to install upside down baseboard to the top of our upper cabinets for two reasons - we wanted a bit more detail, but at the same time, we had to use the moulding style we already had in the rest of the room. And, the baseboard gave us a surface to attach the crown moulding into. Win-win!
